The brief for this project was to develop an identity for The School of Life (A Social Enterprise based in London that offers ideas for living in harmony). My final idea revolved around 'the tree of life' which reflects five subjects which the courses/holidays at The School of Life specialize in: love, play, politics, work and family. These subjects are illustrated through various elements growing out of the branches in specific areas of the tree. Throughout the duration of this project I constantly reminded myself how I intend to create a design that was flexible and capable of being presented in different colours and scales. In the end I applied my final design and individual elements of the tree to a variety of packaging designs, which finally developed into a gift box set.

Graphic Arts Degree Show 2009
Displayed are various photographs of my displayed work at our final year degree show at Liverpool School of Art. This includes a vinyl cut of my 'tree of life drawing' which associates with The School of Life. And a display case showing a postcard booklet with postcard designs and an open page of my one of my sketchbooks. And finally 'the greatest hits of typography' a series of typography designs, each letter of the alphabeat indivdually designed by individual students, including my letter 'G'.
